Job Description

:

We are seeking an Intern Summer \- R&D Undergrad

This position will involve fundamental, academic research studying the solution and bulk self\-assembly behavior of functionalized polymeric materials\. The intern will be trained in and expected to perform several laboratory protocols, including polymer syntheses, sample preparation, spectroscopy, and microscopy\. Meticulous documentation of procedures and results will be required, as well as organization and plotting of acquired data using common software, such as Microsoft Excel\. In addition, the intern will be expected to contribute to general laboratory housekeeping, including cleaning and waste disposal\. Over the course of the internship, one or two opportunities are anticipated in which the intern will present his/her work to a larger audience\.
