We are seeking an Intern Year Round \- Business Grad

The selected individual will support the mission of the Prime Contract Organization

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Develop creative strategic solutions \(including systems\) for challenges
+ Tackle challenging research and analysis projects
+ Support the Freedom of Information Act team in a variety of ways
+ Support the Organizational Conflict of Interest team in a variety of ways
+ Support the Prime Contract Group on a variety of exciting projects

Required:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

+ Earned bachelor's degree
+ Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited graduate program
+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0
+ Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
+ U\.S\. citizenship

Desired:

+ Evidence of successful enrollment in an applicable graduate degree
+ Experience in a professional environment
+ Experience with developing and maintaining software applications including SharePoint
+ Demonstrate initiative and motivated self\-starter
+ Ability to build relationships and team with others

Department Description:

The Prime Contract Organization specializes in providing the National Nuclear Security Administration \(NNSA\) with a knowledgeable and professional partner for negotiating and managing their contractual requirements, collaborating on contract management processes, and interpreting contract terms and conditions\.

We build relationships with NNSA officials to support Sandia's responsibilities to the government as a Federally Funded research and Development Center \(FFRDC\) and oversee the government's compliance with contract provisions\. These relationships enable Sandia's management and staff to effectively achieve their mission through a knowledgeable understanding and authoritative interpretation of contract provisions and requirements\.

We steward the Laboratory Performance Management process to assure that Sandia's performance is represented consistently, timely, and accurately to government officials\.

Security Clearance:

This position does not currently require a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted security clearance\.

Sandia will conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record checks, and employment and education verifications\. Further, employees in New Mexico must pass a U\.S\. Air Force background screen for access to the work site\.
