Job Description

:

We are seeking a Computer Infrastructure Engineer who will provide support on the Enterprise Secure Network OS and operations team\. This team provides support of a multiple\-site DOE network\.

Required:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in a computing field and 1\-2 years of applicable experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education \(9 years\)\.
+ Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems\.
+ Experience working with VMware vSphere and vCenter\.
+ An active Q\-clearance\.

Desired:

+ Experience with deploying and administering systems in a high\-availability production environment\.
+ The ability to solve server and application problems in a complex distributed system with many components and dependencies is of critical importance\.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team setting\.
+ Strong customer service experience\.
+ Effective communication and documentation skills\.

Provide state\-of\-the\-art infrastructure computing systems for the laboratory at benchmark efficiency while ensuring the highest reliability and enterprise utility\.
