Job Description


Monitor, troubleshoot and set up unclassified and classified bridge calls and resolve issues as they arise\.

Monitor and troubleshoot customer videoconference meetings\.

Provide before and after working hour videoconference support\.

Assist users on using videoconferencing systems before and during event\.

Communicate with other bridge operations centers for multipoint calls outside of Sandia\.

Use the Sandia Ticketing System to open, track and resolve assigned setup and trouble tickets\.

Train customers on use of videoconference equipment\.

Test assigned videoconferencing rooms on reoccurring schedule and report results\.

Troubleshoot and provide maintenance and support to diagnose and isolate problem to a specific system, piece of equipment or component and then make necessary arrangements for resolution\.

Maintain, test and ensure videoconference rooms meet security plans\.

Lead videoconference related projects\.


Technical understanding of videoconferencing components\.

Experience in videoconference system support with emphasis on multipoint bridge services for audio and videoconferencing in a multi\-vendor environment\.

Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to communication systems\.

Ability to obtain DOE Q security clearance\.


DOE Q Clearance

Bachelors Degree

Technical experience troubleshooting, installing and integrating video and audio for videoconferencing\.

Experience with LAN/WAN technologies\.

Strong customer service background\.

Ability to operate under high pressure situations while resolving real\-time problems\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
