Job Description


We are seeking a Emergency Medical Paramedic to join the Employee Health Services Center\.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Provide emergency medical care to members of the workforce\.
+ Transport patients to local hospitals for follow\-up treatment\.
+ Perform related medical tasks in the occupational health clinic, including administering allergy shots and triaging urgent care clinic patients\.
+ Particaptes in drills and exercises in collaboration with the emergency management organization\.

This position is a recurrent, on\-call as needed\. Must be willing to provide stand\-by support which will occasionally fall outside of the standard work hours \(i\.e\., weekends, early mornings and late evenings\)\.

Selected applicants will be required to pass a Job Placement Assessment before beginning the job to ensure that they can perform the essential physical requirements, with or without accommodations\.


+ Licensed paramedic in the state of New Mexico\.
+ 3 years of experience as a practicing paramedic\.
+ Currently providing advanced life support for an established EMS service\.
+ Certified in Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support\.


+ Certified in Hazmat Awareness and Operations and ICS 100, 200, 700, 800\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
