We are seeking an Intern Year Round \- Business Grad

We are seeking a graduate student intern as a member of the Division 4000 Quality Assurance team\. Partnering with Corporate Governance, the Executive Office and the Centers within Division 4000, this position requires teaming and innovation in a fast\-paced work environment\. The Division 4000 Office/Department 4001 executes a strategic plan \(in alignment with the Centers/Functional Areas and the Corporate Strategic Plan\), quality assurance assignments and a variety of continuous improvement activities\.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Perform data organization
+ Process management and manipulation
+ Provide customer relations
+ Perform budget analysis
+ Develop action plans
+ Conduct financial reporting
+ Provide human resources support


You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

+ Earned bachelor's degree
+ Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited graduate program
+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0
+ Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
+ U\.S\. citizenship


+ Strong information management skills, including the ability to independently research, retrieve, and analyze information and data from multiple sources
+ Interest in working in a multi\-disciplinary team environment to solve complex problems
+ Demonstrated experience conducting work independently
+ Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing skills
+ Demonstrated knowledge of business principles and processes
+ Understanding of and demonstrated ability to use a variety of business tools
+ Extensive knowledge of a suite of business software, including Microsoft Office

Department Description:

The Division 4000 Office is responsible for integrating quality assurance, human resources, finance, ES&H and Security support through partnerships throughout the Division\. The quality assurance group is largely responsible for developing and sustaining Division processes, including risk management, management review, action items, performance assurance assessments and management and monitoring of stakeholder performance evaluations and expectations\. The quality assurance group teams with ES&H, Security and Facilities to develop consistent processes and delivers quality products to multiple customers, including Mission Support/Executive Management Review, Board of Directors, Laboratories Leadership Team and the Sandia Field Office\.

Security Clearance:

This position does not currently require a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted security clearance\.

Sandia will conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record checks, and employment and education verifications\. Further, employees in New Mexico must pass a U\.S\. Air Force background screen for access to the work site\.
