Job Description


We are seeking an intrepid, highly motivated recruiting specialist to join Sandia’s Talent Acquisition team in our quest to hire extraordinary talent for important national security missions\. This position will design and execute multi\-channel strategies to engage the nation’s best talent in the fields of cybersecurity, computer science and computer engineering, with an emphasis on recruiting recent college grads and intern pipeline development through Sandia’s Technical Intern Institutes, such as TITANS\. Approximately half of your time will be spent supporting the TITANS internship pipeline and the other half supporting Cyber/CS/CE recruiting to meet Sandia’s strategic objectives\.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Partner with cross\-division teams to manage enterprise\-level job postings\.
+ Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies/plans to source applicants; aggressively source and contact qualified candidates for open positions through active recruiting methods including but not limited to social media promotion and outreach, job boards, internet sourcing using resume databases, Boolean searches and referrals\.
+ Screen, evaluate and work with candidates generated from campus recruiting; convert prospects to applicants and match applicants with job needs across lab divisions and sites\.
+ Coordinate and lead talent acquisition activities for Cyber/CS Technical Intern Institutes; work with multiple managers and program coordinators to review, assess and match intern applicants to summer and year\-round internships\. Ensure consistent processes and seamless experience for applicants\.
+ Facilitate professional and efficient end\-to\-end hiring process for interns and non\-intern positions, working directly with external applicants, Sandia staffing partners, Student Programs office, Technical Intern Institutes, plus hiring managers / stakeholder updates and support\.
+ Occasional travel to external recruiting and conference events may be required\.


+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus business/recruiting experience \(up to two years\); or master's degree in relevant discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience\.


+ Talent acquisition and pipeline development experience in a large, multi\-site scientific/engineering organization\.
+ Experience with college intern programs and talent pipeline development\.
+ Knowledge of cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering fields and competitive job market\.
+ Experience with sourcing, screening and qualifying cyber, CS or CE prospects at new grad through experienced level\.
+ Ability to lead programs or projects in a matrixed environment\.
+ Ability to develop measures, metrics, and reports that determine the overall effectiveness of talent acquisition initiatives\.
+ Ability to think strategically, creatively\.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills\.
+ Comfortable working in a challenging, fast\-paced and fluid environment\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.
