We are seeking a SIP GRAD PROF ADMIN \- SUMMER

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Support business development staff which may include conducting market research, coordinating customer visits, and assisting with marketing strategies\.

Required:

The successful candidate must meet the following Sandia Student Intern Requirements: Official acceptance into an accredited university's graduate program, full\-time enrollment during the spring term immediately preceding the internship \(typically 9 credit hours\), a minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.5/4\.0, and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer\. U\.S\. citizenship\.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office
+ Experience conducting research \(including market research\)
+ Excellent verbal and written skills

Desired:

+ Experience with marketing via web and social media
+ Experience with data analysis, including statistical analysis

Department Description:

The Business Development and Intellectual Property Management Department 1932 is responsible for business development support to Sandia's Mission Areas and Program Management Units \(PMUs\)\. The department works in teams of technical and business professionals to develop management of technology, marketing and capture plans\. These teams then implement the plans with the goal of developing programs and partnerships that support mission work\. The department is also responsible for managing Sandia¿s intellectual property \(IP\) portfolio and for negotiating and consummating license agreements\. In cooperation with others in the Partnerships team, the department enables beneficial partnerships to deploy Sandia's IP to industry, universities, and state and federal agencies\. The department also provides business and competitive intelligence to support leadership decision making\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.
