Job Description

San Pasqual Valley Unified School District

In Winterhaven, CA is seeking applicants for the following position for the 2017-2018 School year:

Substitute full time Cafeteria Worker

Dates needed: January 22, 2018 - June 8, 2018

8 hours/per day

5:30 am -2:00 pm

$11.00 per hour.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Assists with the serving of food as assigned.

• Assists in daily cleanup as assigned.

• Operates and maintains machine and equipment.

• Takes over tor supervisor whenever necessary or assigned.

• Must be clean in personal habits, takes pride in work, and gets along with students teachers, and staff.

• Assists wherever and whenever necessary during any emergency.


• High school diploma or general educational development.

• Negative skin test or X-ray.

• Be able to perform physical requirements of the job: standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, lifting and carrying.

• Have knowledge and experience in food preparation and serving.

• Ability to handle educational skills necessary to food preparation, reports, records or correspondence.

• Must possess and maintain current driver license.

• Pre-employment physical which includes drug and alcohol testing.


Food Service Supervisor


Annually, in accordance with Administrative Regulation and/or Board Policy.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: The Cafeteria Supervisor must pass the Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance; maintain a valid driver’s license, California Health Card and TB test; successfully pass the Drug Screening exam.
