Salem Township Hospital

The Salem Township Hospital is a public hospital licensed for 46 beds by the Illinois Department of Health and became a Critical Access Hospital effective May 1, 2005. The Governing Board consists of 6 members who are appointed by the Salem Township Board with one board member representing the Medical Staff. There are 11 active medical staff members with the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Surgery, Pathology, Radiology and an Emergency Department Director.
