If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Associate for our Saint-Gobain Crystals Business located in Hiram, OH

Position Summary:

Our Business Development Associate position is an 18-to-24 month training program designed to develop and grow your career in our customer service and sales departments. This role will be directly responsible for aspects of the Customer Experience across multiple areas of our commercial organization. Our training program will develop your customer service, sales, leadership, and problem solving skills to prepare you to become a top-notch Business Development Manager. This program will also provide the technological knowledge needed to understand our products, their uses in various industries we serve, and help you grow your relationship with our customers.

Essential Functions:

Customer Service:

* Deliver excellent customer support and communication
* Build strong relationships with key customer contacts
* Communicate with internal and external resources about customer requests and orders
* Listen to customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely manner
* Manage customer contracts through reviews and order entry

Sales:


* Manage all aspects of ongoing relationship with established customer accounts
* Develop new accounts by researching, identifying, and contacting new sales opportunities
* Develop detailed opportunity information to support strategic, operational, and budget planning
* Act as a guide for customer visits to various facilities
* Serve as a point of contact between customers and the appropriate sales/marketing managers and Applications and Technology Staff
* Lead contract negotiations with support from Marketing and Sales management
* Track market financial information and specific customer sales forecasts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Marketing
* 1 year of practical or internship experience in academic degree
* Ability to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international)
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Proven project management skills
