Embedded Trainer Systems Engineer (Job Number:430316)

The Embedded Trainer (ET) Systems Engineer will support the Joint Systems Integration Lab (JSIL) located at the Software Engineering Directorate (SED). The ET Systems Engineer will be responsible for the overall planning and coordination of the U788 and U280 Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) software and Original Equipment Manufacturer's software and hardware released for the Universal Ground Control Station. Planning and Coordination will be with the Directorate of Simulation (DOS) accreditation, the Army's Program Management Office-UAS, JSIL Software Development Teams, JSIL Integration and Test team, JSIL Configuration Management and OEMs. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and with the customer to define, derive, capture and prioritize requirements for the fielding of each tactical system release. The ET Systems Engineer will be responsible for the system lifecycle management of the Embedded Trainer. Requirements will be de- composed to a software/hardware level for implementation following an Agile/SCRUM development process. Systems engineer will also support integration, test, documentation, and delivery of the Embedded Trainer Release. Systems Engineer candidate will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment with multiple contractors and teaming partners and must be self- motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and also have excellent interpersonal and verbal/written/presentation communication skills.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:

BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field

-
Systems Engineering experience 5+ years. Experience (4+ years) may be used in lieu of degree.

Desired Qualifications:

UAS/RPA Vehicles and relative Payloads background/experience

-
Army and Army Training background/experience

-
Universal Ground Control Station experience

-
ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) background/experience

-
Simulation Software/Testing/Integration Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience

Clearance Requirement:

Must have an Active Secret Clearance
