Program Control Principal - Scheduler (Job Number:430357)

Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- SAIC is looking for a Master Scheduler in our Charleston, SC office to support Vehicle Program during the productions phase of the contract.
- This position will create, maintain, track, analyze and report the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This position will develop and maintain summary level schedule reports; Gantt, logic networks, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, earned value, performance variances and cost / schedule integration.
- Activities will include supporting the development, maintenance, and/or tracking of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), Control Accounts, Schedule Basis of Estimates (BOEs), change management logs, subcontractor schedule efforts, material as it relates to schedules, and integration/analysis with technical performance metrics and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- This position involves a comprehensive knowledge of the scheduling field and practices as well as manufacturing scheduling experience.
- The candidate will lead project team members in the schedule planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting, and must have experience with DCMA 14 Point assessments, Monte Carlo analysis and other scheduling evaluation approaches.
- Ability to effectively communicate schedule status and analysis is required.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline and 10+ years of related experience is required.
- Requires program control experience working with schedules, IMS, IMPs, WBSs,and schedule analysis tools.
- Experience working with production programs in a dynamic environment is highly desirable.
- The candidate should be extremely proficient in scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or others, as well MS Excel or other similar desktop tools that provide capabilities to accumulate and analyze information.
