Systems Administrator (SysAdmin), JBLM WA. (Job Number:430359)

Description:



SAIC is currently seeking Systems Administrators (SysAdmin) to provide customer support to users of supported information management systems. Responsible for assisting customers with the resolution of problems encountered. Identifies the nature of customer problems, to include loss of service, impact to the customer and the customer's expectations/needs for a resolution. Provides help desk services to customers by serving as a primary point of contact for problem resolution or direct inquiries.

These positions will support the Multi-Analysis Archive System (MAAS) with 24/7 sustainment, technical support and user training of the MAAS program and systems at the FORSCOM IWfF Reach Center PED Nodes at Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Hood, TX, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Multi-INT Analysis and Archive System (MAAS) supports the Motion GEOINT mission and a solution for analysts providing a scalable, open, service-based platform to capture, exploit, disseminate and archive intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) data. MAAS enables real- time and forensic analysis of multiple intelligence (Multi-INT) sources supporting missions as they occur along with Structured Observation Management (SOM) and Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and provision customer accounts.

-
Provide computer systems support and associated networks.

-
Install, configure, and maintain servers.

-
Initiate support calls (hardware/software) and schedule/perform maintenance and hardware installations.

-
Install, configure and maintain various applications and services.

-
Provide professional technical support to include on-call support.

-
Collect and collate trouble ticket reports and system failure data, sort this data for differentiation of affected systems, and provide this data to the customer in a concise manner.

-
Manage and maintain system configuration to include documentation, installation, planning, configuration and evaluation of existing and new hardware.

Conduct MAAS installs at Fort Bragg, NC and Joint Base Lewis McChord IWfF Reach Center PED Nodes.

-
Provide 24/7 sustainment of the MAAS program and systems at the FORSCOM IWfF Reach Center PED Nodes at Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Hood, TX, and Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA.

Provide Information Assurance Management consisting of IA and patching support for all sites

-
Consult with other Army/Department of Defense (DoD) organizations as needed

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or four additional years' experience in lieu of degree.

Five years' of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with experience in Intelligence Analysis, particularly in the following disciplines, will be given strong consideration:

Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)

-
Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)

-
Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)

Clearance Requirement:

Active TS//SCI security clearance.
