Messaging and Collaboration Team Lead (Job Number:430218)


Job Description

- This is the Lead position for SAIC's Messaging and Collaboration Team supporting a major commercial customer in the automotive industry.
- The principle technologies in use are Microsoft's Office 365 with Proofpoint Secure Gateways and Microsoft's SharePoint and Skype collaboration tools.
- The M&C Lead is required to manage the team workload and assign tasks to other members of the team.
- The Lead is responsible for the overall performance of the team and for meeting performance targets.
- The Customer is very collaborative and the SAIC M&C Lead will participate in strategy, design, implementation, incident handling and problem resolution meetings as SAIC's representative.
- The M&C Lead is expected to make operational decisions and to be a Subject Matter Expert providing advice to the Customer on technology and design matters.


- Bachelors degree and 9+ years of experience; OR, High school equivalent and 13+ years of experience.
- Experience with the following technologies:

- Microsoft Azure (cloud service)

- Microsoft Lync

- Microsoft Powershell

- Microsoft SharePoint

- In addition to standard hours, resource is required to participate in 24/7 On-Call roster and to support occasional scheduled changes.
