Program Analyst Principal/DoD Contracting Specialist (Job Number:430079)

Description:

Program Management Analyst requisition for position in Contracts Division of Remote Sensing Systems Directorate at Space and Missile Center, Los Angeles Base, California. The Space and Missile Systems (SMC) acquires space systems for the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force. SMC's Remote Sensing Systems Directorate (SMC/RS) acquires space-based infrared surveillance systems and weather-related systems.

The candidate performs the following functions in support of the Remote Sensing Contracts Office:

- Supports definition of acquisition strategies and development of Requests for Proposal Develop and establish program plans, budgets and schedules to meet contract/project requirements Oversees and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between contracting and project management teams
- Assesses division issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client- satisfaction goals and objectives
- Build, maintain, and continuously develop the division's SharePoint site and its sub sites Develop tools, training, and resources to address product, process, and personnel related challenges identified within the organization
- Perform contracting related analyses on division's metrics and data and identify trends, issues, solutions, and opportunities for development
- Identify and develop opportunities and resources to improve communication, coordination, and processes between division and its associate Divisions within the program office

Qualifications:

Security Clearance - Must currently possess:

- Top Secret (TS)
Security Clearance - Must be Able to Obtain:

- TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience
- Masters and eight (8) years or more experience
- PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
