ICOFT Scheduler (Job Number:430070)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is supporting the Software Engineering Directorate (SED) in maintaining an Institutional Conduct of Fire Trainer (ICOFT) testbed for the stability and sustainment of the THAAD ICOFT system. The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components. SED is likewise supporting SED in establishing a Radar Training Device (RTD). The Schedule Manager will provide professional, technical and management services to support both PMs in the execution of projects, programs and enhancements. The role will manage and administer a key process within the ICOFT and RTD Teams.

The successful candidate will work with the team to:

Organize and facilitate ICOFT and RTD related events and milestone activities in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

-
Baseline, coordinate and maintain a schedule of activities across the ICOFT and RTD organizations

-
Schedule and conduct project milestone and status meetings with managers and leads on a weekly basis

-
Maintain a status of key information about the effort (i.e. status, schedule and dates of key milestones, and related issues)

-
Communicate and coordinate with the Product Leads and PM to ensure consistency of information throughout the project, and coordinate schedule impacts to leadership

-
Analyze EVMS and funding allocations and alert the PM of any issues

-
Develop contract pricing packages for new Technical Directives

-
Collect and compile the weekly ICOFT status charts

-
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree and four years or more of related experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills

-
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

-
Experience with MS Project (3-5 years)

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with EVMS

Budget analysis

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

Clearance level must possess: Secret
