All Source Analyst (OSINT) (Job Number:430050)


SAIC is happy to offer a unique opportunity with the government customer located in Charlottesville, VA; Rivanna Station. The employee will provide the customer with open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysis and operational support; support is provided at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. OSINT Analyst performs all source intelligence analysis related to military actions, insurgent, terrorist groups activities, and dynamic threats to US forces worldwide, will primarily focus on threats against US forces and interests from terrorist organizations and insurgencies in the Near East, Africa, and South Asia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, analyze, compile, evaluate, and integrate OSINT information into a variety of intelligence products on foreign regular and irregular ground forces and their capabilities and related military technologies.

Provide all-source data and analytic products that help decision makers understand the threat to U.S. ground forces posed by threat networks that support regular and irregular groups.

Assist Customer and other IC analysts/agencies in the planning, preparation coordination, and dissemination of intelligence products.

Conduct research and production of intelligence assessments using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, law enforcement database and research tools, and Open Source (OSINT) and classified source data.

Use intelligence analysis tools to collect, store, and process open source data.

Identify intelligence gaps and trends, specify intelligence collection requirements, provide recommendations and propose new or revised analytical efforts, to alert leadership to developments and to meet customer needs.

Collaborate with counterpart analysts, collectors, and leaders throughout the DoD and the IC to facilitate the exchange of all source intelligence information.

Attend professional development workshops, seminars and courses that are related to topics that include: threat finance, proliferation of materiel support, and insurgencies support (financial, material or training) from local populations. DOD and IC standards and practices.

Provide intelligence support to policy makers, planners, and operational forces.

Produce scientific and technical intelligence and military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces. Respond to requests for information (RFIs), briefing products, writing collection evaluations, intelligence assessments and information and position papers.

Identify intelligence trends, within an activity or across multiple activities for a threat network, and propose new or revised analytical efforts to alert leadership to developments and to meet customer needs.

Produce white papers, RFI responses, PowerPoint presentations, briefings, or other projects.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.


Bachelor's degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university.

Required Skills:

Experience collaborating within the intelligence community, DoD, academic/institution partners in support of mission requirements.

Experience developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and preparing recommendations that enhance open source collection and analysis processes.

Demonstrated understanding of DoD intelligence processes, activities, standards, and analytic tools; ability to generate actionable reporting in a timely manner and tie OSINT collections into larger reporting deliverables.

Knowledge and expertise with the intelligence cycle and the analytic process to collect data, populate databases, and develop information and products.

Knowledge and experience of the deep and dark web, social media and social networking sites, and OSINT research and Operational Security best practices.

Ability to prepare and deliver technical and non-technical information and instructional briefings and other training to team members and government personnel.

Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Experience:

Completed OS301 Basic OSINT Course.

Completed Basic Social Media Analysis Course.

Five (5+) years' all- source intelligence work experience conducting open source and classified research, threat assessment and analysis, Irregular Warfare concepts and operations, and providing intelligence and analysis services.

Possess and maintain an active/current TOP SECRET clearance.

Clearance Requirement:

Must currently possess or be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
