Systems Requirements & Interfaces Engineer (Job Number:429918)


Participate in a government COMSATCOM/MILSATCOM architecture team.Drive the development, integration and management of the MILSATCOM technical requirements baseline with an emphasis on interface definition.

Key Duties:

- Coordinate with government and commercial stakeholders and organizations to evolve requirements and to establish MOU/MOAs for interfaces with existing external systems
- Identify and perform analyses to support requirements definition and develop Requirements Allocation Documents (RAD)
- Participate in demonstration teams to validate requirements and interface compliance
- Be responsible for generating acquisition documents and providing direct support to acquisitions

- BS degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
- 5+ years' of relevant technical field like communications, telecom, wireless, networks


- Masters in technical discipline
- Proficient in Systems Engineering and Integration process standards, as well as the Configuration Management process
- Familiarity with associated tool sets and/or quick to learn flow down and interface tool sets
- 2+ years' experience in DoD and/or commercial SATCOM
- 2+ years' experience with ground systems, such as terminals and networks
