Deputy Program Manager/PMO Manager (Job Number:429729)

Description:



SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified service delivery manager for Toyota Client Support Services PMO, located in Plano, TX.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for Service Measurement, Client Reporting, Invoice and Financing Reporting, Compliance Management, Contract Management, and Business Management. Responsible for oversight an operation consisting of multiple services area (i.e., PMO - Business Management Services, Service Desk Operations, Technical Engineering Services , End User Computing Services).
- Working closely with the customer's Vendor Management Office (VMO), provide consulting and delivering business strategies and solutions to customers at all levels of management.
- Responsibilities also include developing budgets and schedules, task orders and statements of work (SOWs) to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems, or related from an accredited institution and 15 years or more of IT Project Management overseeing a large IT projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and teams; demonstrated ability to coordinate individuals and groups to meet performance baselines.
- Must have an ITIL certification and current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate.
- Strong facilitation expertise with experience and comfort managing project groups through complex concepts/issues.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with an ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Experience providing executive level briefings to advance customers goals, share results of accomplishments, and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience developing services with quantifiable metrics to measure performance and impact from improvement initiatives.
- Supports the planning and execution of the operation's objectives.
- Supports operation leadership to lead through subordinate management where the scope and complexity of responsibilities require the integration of multiple disciplines and functions.
- Supports top-level client and potential client relationships, and contributes to the identification of new opportunities and business area development strategies.
- Supports leadership by promoting ethical behavior and providing guidance to staff on technical and administrative matters.

Skills Required

- Requires strong business analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, for managing Service Level Metric and Key Performance Indicators reporting, invoice and forecasting of work.
- Requires ability to work with technical professionals and other service delivery management in order to develop labor and materials estimates for new work.
- Requires ability to act independently in terms of problem solving and client satisfaction management.
- Requires ability to assist in developing process improvement strategies for the program and working with the client in order to implement and monitor agreed to improvements.
- Requires experience in using Microsoft Project for project plan and schedule development

Desired Skills

- Preferred experience in dealing with SAIC's Contracts and Pricing professionals.
- Preferred experience in using ServiceNow service management system.
- Preferred experience in using procurement systems such as Ariba

Work location Requirements

- The position will be located with the client in Plano, Texas.
