Information Assurance Analyst (Job Number:429567)


Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Description The Information Assurance Analyst shall provide continuous Information Assurance (IA) engineering support to the MARFORCYBER operations network. Will perform systems security programming to facilitate detection and tracking of unauthorized attempts to access MARFORCYBER network resources and evaluate the security posture of computer system configurations, identify deficiencies, and identify actions needed to correct the deficiencies, on an as needed basis. This includes regular weekly patches, as well as ad hoc maintenance.

Duties include:

- Install and operate approved security tools and install security-related applications, operating system patches and/or updates.
- Assist in the development and implementation and review of network security policies and procedures, review IA procedures to include gathering IA metrics, tracking compliance with mandated policies, and provision of recommendations for mitigation of IA deficiencies.
- Create RMF packages for Authority to Connect/Operate (ATC/ATO) as well as Interim Authority To Test (IATT).
- It is expected that the IA Analyst will create, update, and/or submit 4 packages each year.



- Five (5) years of experience with DIACAP and RMF certification and accreditation requirements; experience installing, operating, and maintaining network security tools and applications
- Bachelor's Degree; or Three (3) years of experience with a Masters Degree; or seven (7) years of experience with a high school diploma.
- Have an IAM III Certification (CISSP, CISM, or GSLC) or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.


- Staff experience researching and writing white papers, compliance reports and assessment reports. Ability to develop briefing materials, administrative, and logistics support.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively,
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Counter Intelligence (CI) Poly
