Job Description

Advanced Technical Operations Analyst (Job Number:429374)


Serve as the advanced technical focal point for supporting program management, requirements definition, technical, and analytical support to ACC A5/8Z. Critical to Air-to-Air and Air-to- Ground (A-A/A-G) weapons, electronic warfare, and electronic countermeasure systems development for current and future aircraft. Provide operational, technical, and analytical assistance to document JCIDS and other MAJCOM and Special Access requirements. Regularly interface with OSD, Joint Staff, Air Staff, MAJCOMs, NAFs, AF TENCAP, FFRDCs, and other Government organizations when performing duties associated with A5/8Z. Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission needs and requirements analysis, concept of operations development, program tradeoff analysis, program roadmap creation including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning. Recommend policy changes and support the communication of policy changes. Assist in the drafting, review and implementation of procedures, policy, systems capability definition and requirement documents, and guidance for incorporation into ACC operations. Plan, coordinate, and attend A5/8Z functions and conferences. Represent A5/8Z personnel at CAF requirements meeting and other SAP planning meetings.



- Clearance Level Must Possess: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Clearance Level Must be able to Obtain: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)


- Position requires up to 40% travel to CONUS/OCONUS areas.
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of military aerospace technology experience. Electrical engineering degree highly desired.
- Ten years' experience in one or all of the following disciplines: A-A/A-G weapons, electronic warfare, or electronic countermeasure systems.
- Three years MAJCOM staff, or equivalent experience.
- Previous rated fighter pilot or fighter Weapons System Officer or 10 years of working operational requirement programs. SAP experience required.
