Advanced Programs Surveillance Integration Analyst (Job Number:428415)



SAIC has an opportunity for a Surveillance Integration Specialist supporting the Air Force with Advanced Programs Support. The successful applicant will support the integration of advanced program concepts and technology as well as coordinate and integrate resource priorities across the Special Access Program (SAP) portfolio to shape Combat Air Forces (CAF) programming strategy to ensure warfighter future requirements are met. Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate, integrate, and serve as focal point for off-board surveillance requirements

- Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission need and requirements analysis; concept of operations development; and the development of situational awareness/surveillance JCIDS requirements and related S&T efforts

- Conduct analysis, assessments and evaluations and provide recommendations on Air Superiority (AS) capabilities definition, architecture product and roadmap development leading to effective net- centric capabilities with the greatest potential to meet CAF warfighter needs

- Conduct technical and operational assessments on airborne networking and military and commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) system options and provide recommendations on specific aspects of these systems to pursue with focus on affordability balanced with greatest increases in mission effectiveness

- Perform complex systems engineering assessments to support enterprise modernization and sustainment, development of capabilities-based planning and analysis and interoperability analysis to assist in CAF investment decisions

- Regularly interface with Air Force LCMC, AFRL, other Services and Government organizations, FFRDCs and Industry


- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.


- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

- Clearance Level To Obtain: TS/SCI with Poly


- Bachelor's degree with experience in USAF acquisition disciplines including requirements analysis and implementation, risk management, technology insertion, acquisition strategy development/documentation, budget development, site logistics planning, and scheduling

- Five (5) years of detailed working knowledge of integrated fire control concepts of operation across the joint spectrum of operation

- Five (5) years of operational application of airborne fire control radars, air defense systems, information operations, and associated network architectures

- Five (5) years of technical theory of tactical data-links, airborne/space communications, computing architectures, and information exchange requirements

- Five (5) years of technical theory of radar detection and tracking and integration with other platform sensors

- Four (4) years of SAP experience within the last six (6) years required

- Ten (10) years of operational air superiority experience
