SAIC has an opening for a Training Specialist located in Washington, DC.

- b Description:

- The Mobile and Remote Access (MRA) Mobile Operations (MO) Branch within the Department of State (DoS) has implemented a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, XenMobile, which offers the Department further flexibility in the mobile space.
- The Communications and Training Specialist will support the execution efforts of an IRM communications plan for XenMobile and other Mobile and Remote Access services with a customer focus and customer outreach approach.
- The individual will work closely with the Communications and Training Lead and the team supporting MRA/MO to ensure that products and services are in consonance with the overall project.
- This position requires an individual who can work between the hours of 2pm - 11pm

Description of Duties:

- The individual shall have a good understanding of MRA/MO services in order to develop relevant, effective, current, and useful written products that are practical, easy-to- read/understand, succinct, and on-target with the intended audience.
- The Communications and Training Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing Internal and external Training materials.
- Updating content to support Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document(s) and/or Knowledge Base.
- Developing, updating, maintaining Technical and End-User Guides in coordination with MRA/MO Document Management Team.
- Monitoring and responding to customer email inquiries regaring MRA/MO services The Communications and Training Specialist shall also perform the following:
- Coordinate customer- facing and enterprise level messages (e.g., notifications, emails, webpage links, procedures, etc.) with Communications and Training Lead
- Disseminate communications products to Department of State (DoS) organizations and users.
- Conduct internal training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Swing Shift Support Staff.
- Monitor all MRA/MO external communications.
- Collect and collate feedback from DoS organizations and users and provide the collated results to IRM/OPS/MSO/MRA.
- Support the operation and maintenance of communications and training content across the MRA/MO customer-facing SharePoint site.
- Routinely update Training Plan(s) and Training materials in coordination with the Communications and Training Lead.
- Provide training tutorial videos on how to activate iPhones, IPad or other mobile devices.
- Ensure consistent framing of messages and communication products and update any outdated documents or other products to make them current and relevant.



Required Education/Experience:

- 5-6 years experience with a Bachelor's Degree in related discipline such as Business Communications or Mass Media. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience/Skills/Attributes:

- In-depth and demonstrated skills in written communications, documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides, and similar products to clearly disseminate relevant information, increase user awareness and provide relevant training materials.
- Extremely strong, proficient and demonstrated oral and written communication skills with experience working effectively with senior management officials, project management team members, and technical staff members regarding communication and training issues.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables, and exceptional attention to details.
- Ability to focus on delivery of products and services on time.

Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes:

- In depth experience in supporting other large scale IT systems deployment and support of multiple or other mobile solutions.

- The candidate should have an eye for detail, ability to multi-task, organize priorities, and work in a systematic style following minimal guidance. The ideal candidate may provide previously authored communications/training-related documents as examples of his/her work products.
