Cyber Network Operations Planning (Job Number:428192)

The team has a mission to support the United States Marine Corps conducting full-spectrum military cyberspace operations in order to enable actions in all domains, and will insure US/Allied freedom of action in cyberspace and deny the same to our adversaries. This opportunity is on the front line of Cyber offense, defense and DoDIN operations!

Job Description:

The Computer Network Operations Planner makes recommendations and provide guidance on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; lifecycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation. Draft or edits Operational Plans (OPLANs), Operational Orders (OPORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), participate in Joint Planning Groups and Teams (OPG/OPT) developing and integrating cyber capabilities into plans, support MARFORCYBER action officers with planning and research and analysis on national and DoD cyberspace policy, analysis of cyberspace events and operations, provide specialized expertise in such areas as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Collection and Analysis, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), All- Source Intelligence Analysis and Production, Intelligence Collection Management, and Exercise Planning.

Daily activities include:

Provides input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, combat, and contingency operations.

Provides input for the development of cyberspace Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Courses of Action (COAs), and other related documents.

Provides input to address shortfalls, prioritize, and validate requirements and be prepared to modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment.

-
Contributes to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans, and other required documentation.

-
Conducts research of current and emerging threats to U.S. critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR).

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10 years experience with military cyberspace operations and the military planning process, or with a minimum of three years in military cyberspace operations and a BS or higher degree in engineering or IT related field.

Understanding of CNO strategy

IAM Level III Certification

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

-
Ability to develop briefing materials, administrative, and logistics support.

Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively, including public speaking, and briefing senior officers.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

Must currently possess or be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
