Job Description


The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator is responsible for providing a blend of recruiting, selection, hiring and onboarding process support for both Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (RHP) and Opry Entertainment Group (OEG). This individual plays an integral role in the successful attraction, acquisition and transition of all new employees into our organization.


* Facilitates pre-employment and on-boarding processes for all RHP and OEG new hires; to include drafting offer letters, extending offers via phone, initiating and managing pre-employment screens (drug test and background check), new hire paperwork sessions as well as coordinating orientation/benefits scheduling.
* Coordinates pre-employment drug testing and background checks, including candidate experiences and authorizations, vendor processing and relationship management.
* Coordinates with various departments (i.e. Security, IT etc.), as well as third party vendors (i.e. background check, drug screen etc.) to ensure all pre-employment, on-boarding tasks are completed prior to start date.
* Monitors and communicates new hire progress with Hiring Manager and TA team, sharing any updates that could impact the individual's start date.
* Hosts and manages candidates on site interview experience (coordinate interview schedules, air/auto travel, hotel and transportation needs and create customized candidate communications).
* Maintains the administration of the employee referral program.
* Posts jobs to recruitment job boards and social media.
* Updates Standard Operating Procedures for TA team.
* Assists TA team with scheduling and participating in career events.
* Supports the corporate intern program through the planning and coordination of intern events.
* Performs other duties as assigned.



* Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.


* Minimum 2 years of (professional/full time) human resources/recruiting experience strongly preferred
* Working experience with an ATS preferred
* Experience with marketing, social media and/or employment branding strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
* Superior organizational skills, as well as excellent follow-through and follow-up
* Ability to focus on detail and accuracy, as well as handle personal and confidential and/or legally restricted information securely and confidentially
* Strong interpersonal skills & customer first attitude
* Ability to establish and maintain trust and confidence with candidates, employees and leaders
* Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply them to solve problems and propose effective solutions
* Comfortable operating in an environment that requires flexibility and autonomy


* This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.
