Job Description

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Business Analyst/Report Writer For the Office of Financial Aid. This position is under the supervision of the Associate University Director of Student Financial Aid/Technical Support. The Business Analyst/Report Writer joins a growing team responsible for delivering business-critical reporting and value-added data insights that meet the most important business needs.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
* Responsible for performing advanced technical and analytical work in the development and support of standardized and/or customized reports.
* Oversees advanced technical programming activities, including creating SQL queries, views and stored procedures, testing, debugging, and maintaining customized reports.
* Assists in serving as the liaison between OIT and the Financial Aid Office to help maximize effectiveness when designing system processes and reports that meet the business needs of the office and ensures excellent service to our staff and students.
