Job Description

Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a Work Assistant for the Center for Public Health Workforce Development at the School of Public Health. The Work Assistant provides general office support and performs clerical duties such as routine typing, filing, copying and preparing course equipment and materials.

* Compiles information and prepares reports, business correspondence, application forms, shipping tickets, and other materials.
* Files documents and maintains filing system.
* Sorts and distributes mail, answers telephone, and performs similar duties.
* Prepares and maintains office documents.
* Operates and maintains photocopying and fax machines.
* Maintains inventory of clerical office supplies and equipment.
