Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology in the Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor. Candidates should have expertise in the management and treatment of children with pediatric diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics and either board certified/eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology, and must have a record of medical and academic excellence. The applicant will join a busy Pediatric Endocrinology Division which currently consists of three full time MDs, a full time endocrine nurse practitioner, and 2 certified diabetes educators. The position will work in multiple clinical locations in New Jersey. The candidate will be expected to provide outpatient care and provide inpatient consultations in the pediatric multispecialty centers. The candidate will also be expected to supervise pediatric residents and medical students in the out and inpatient settings, and provide teaching to in the medical school.
