Global Human Resources

Job Description:

As an HR Intern, you will contribute to the overall efficiency of the Human Resources Department. You will assist in providing HR support services to all of Russell Investments business units through HR Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and other HR projects and initiatives as required.

We are seeking a proactive team player with an ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, and manage various tasks simultaneously, yet flexible to accommodate changing priorities.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

* Ensure all associates receive accurate answers to queries within a reasonable time frame. This may require escalating to the appropriate functional area or HR leadership.


* Assist with new hire and onboarding process.


* Become familiar with Workday (HR Information System) to ensure data integrity, data input and changes, manager awareness, running reports.


* Assist on a variety of projects as required e.g. associate policy review, build out of e-learning content on Workday Learning, benefits and compensation initiatives, talent acquisition assistance



The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information


* Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills (required).


* Demonstrated ability to manage and follow through on multiple priorities and assignments (required).


* Bachelor's Degree (or in pursuit of) in HR Management or related field (preferred).


* Professional experience with Workday HRIS (preferred).


* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel (required).


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).


* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment (required).
