Job Description

The Role and Responsibilities

Roku, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated law student to intern with us. As a legal intern, you will work closely with Roku's in-house legal team on a diverse variety of legal issues. You will gain real-world, practical in-house experience within a rapidly growing public company in the streaming space. The focus of this position will largely be in the areas of Commercial Transactions, Privacy Law and Intellectual Property.

The internship may include the following duties:

* Assisting with organizing and managing contracts and templates
* Reviewing and preparing NDA's, and marketing, vendor and consulting agreements
* Updating company policies
* Legal research and writing
* Reviewing compliance initiatives and more!

Experience/Qualifications

* A current student in a J.D. program, completing a 2nd or 3rd year at an ABA accredited law school
* Must have a strong academic record
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of privacy, contracting and intellectual property issues
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills
* Good written, oral and interpersonal skills
