Job Description

The Role and Responsibilities:

The Performance & Growth Analyst - TRC will be responsible for working with Marketing, Programming, Data Science, and Product leadership to execute ROI-driven solutions for content promotion across multiple channels. The Performance Analyst - Programming will report to the Director of Performance & Optimization and will be located in Los Angeles.

* Work closely with Roku's content marketing and engagement teams to optimize marketing initiatives for The Roku Channel across all touchpoints, including but not limited to: display, video, email, ICS, Featured Free. Provide insight into how these channels interact to produce results.
* Provide forecasting to support potential media plans and evaluate how close the execution came to those forecasts and plans.
* Provide optimization recommendations during live campaigns. Ensure we are continuously improving eCPMs and finding efficiencies.
* Provide in-depth reporting and insights during live campaigns, and in wrap-up reports and internal QBRs.
* Demonstrate subject matter expertise by contributing proactively to marketing strategies and circulating best practices.
* Partner with DSA to design A/B testing to see beyond the metrics and understand how our users engage with promoted content.
* Support the execution of promotional campaigns from apps pushing to The Roku Channel.
* Contribute to the marketing capabilities roadmap by working with the Product and Data Science teams to build tools and reporting that give the Programming team greater insight into the successes and shortcomings of promotional efforts.

Experience/Qualifications:

* 5+ years' experience in marketing analytics
* Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SQL
* Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Looker
* Familiarity with pulling reporting from DFP and Salesforce
* Familiarity with digital advertising, performance marketing, and attribution terminology and metrics
* College degree
