The diverse team of people on our Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) team are motivated by an ambitious goal: to make Collins Aerospace the safest, healthiest aerospace company - with the smallest environmental footprint - on the planet. Join us as we continue to lead the way in safety culture, environmental excellence, and regulatory compliance. Intern to start in May or June through August 2019. Primary Responsibilities: - EH&S projects such as Machine Guarding, JHA, Hazardous Waste, and Electrical Safety -Ergonomic task analysis and/or solutions -Use of analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and eliminate hazards within manufacturing and business areas -Assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing, 6S, continuous improvement and visual factory projects -Perform root cause analysis on EH&S issues and implement corrective actions -Will help with records management (documents/libraries)

Basic Qualifications:

* Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution
* Must have GPA of 3.0
* Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
* US Citizenship required
