The Rockwell Collins Interior Systems Summer Intern Program affords students the ability to:

* Access and work with state-of-the-art equipment
* Learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment
* Work on projects and programs currently in progress at Rockwell Collins Interior Systems, which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tactical Procurement

* New Hire Orientation
* Supplier Agreements- Stocking Agreements
* Material Requirements Planning

Strategic Procurement

* Support active strategic initiatives
* Strategic Buyer Role and Assigned Commodities
* Negotiation Tactics
* Oxygen Safety

New Program Procurements

* Support New Program Introductions
* Attend Program Meetings

Supplier Quality Management

* Active Team Member
* Joining an SQE to conduct a supplier audit
* Risk Assessment Process

Manufacturing

* Learn Assembly Process in FF

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Completion of sophomore year
* Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Supply Chain
* Lift and/or move up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods
