GLE is a SEI/CMMI Level 3 engineering organization within the Commercial Aviation & Network Services division of Rockwell Collins IMS. The GLOBALink Group provides communication products and services for commercial and business airline customers. GLE develops systems and solutions for providing a high availability 24x7 data link service.

The selected candidate will:

* Be involved in the design, implementation and testing of the software solutions needed to provide high availability data link services.
* Use Rational Rose/UML for designing software solutions and require the knowledge of one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Perl programming languages in Linux.
* The engineer will be working in a team environment complying with the processes outlined by the CMM level 3.

Required Experiences:

* The ideal candidate will possess one (1) year or less of software development experience using C/C++.
* The candidate must possess solid writing skills and strong verbal communication skills to work in a highly integrated team environment.
* The software development will require the knowledge of network protocols and data communication.

Desired Experience:

* Linux, C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, Network Protocols, Data Communications. Related internship experience.


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
