R. J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking candidates for management training. Through a series of rotational assignments within various subsidiaries and participation in special projects, the manager trainee will learn all aspects of the railroad service provider business, and prepare for management roles within the organization. Management training may follow a career path in operations, sales management or administration, and the "hands-on" nature of this program will require that trainees receive field operational assignments at various locations throughout the organization - most assignments will require travel.
The program lasts up to eighteen months. The field of concentration is based upon the trainee's interests, strengths, weaknesses, performance and commitment. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees are promoted into a supervisory or professional role.
Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in business, finance, business administration, engineering, logistics, marketing, information technology or a related course of study. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or Constrution Management a plus.
