POSITION PROFILE

The Manager, Business Development -- Service Advantage Sales is responsible for prospecting, developing and closing sales opportunities to expand Ricoh Service Advantage revenues within and in support a partner, portfolio or segment. Growing the revenue base through contractual relationships, the Manager develops new business relationships and leads the partner sales of Service Advantage offerings for companies in US, Canada, Latin America and identifies opportunities to work collaboratively with EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) counterparts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for services revenue and profit growth of Service Advantage solutions globally with an emphasis on new Service Advantage portfolio partners in the Americas.
* Possess strong executive presence and, business acumen and able to communicate on multiple levels
* Identify, develop and grow Service Advantage revenue opportunities with partners and new business opportunities.
* Responsible for obtaining assigned revenue target.
* Responsible for strategic positioning of Service Advantage solutions, pipeline management and closing opportunities.
* Strong ability for Partnership Planning and accurate forecasting.
* Leverages Ricoh's unique value proposition and differentiators; works to refine the Service Advantage story line and brand when and where appropriate.
* Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
* Maintain close partnership with Service Advantage Team to promote new solutions internally and externally.
* Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials.
* Develops relationships with 3rd party manufacturers of electromechanical equipment as potential partners to leverage Ricoh's services platform as part of the Service Advantage strategy.
* Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
* Manage the closing of new business deals by coordinating requirements; works with team with developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
* Partners with team to negotiate contracts to meet Ricoh profit goals
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
* Collaborates with other Ricoh regions to coordinate new services revenue growth activities.
* Ensures the successful implementation of Service Advantage contracts and customer services; serves as knowledge point of contact for operational and field teams
* Participates in the development of future Service Advantage offerings
* Operates under a broad scope of authority within generally accepted guidelines.
* Ensures that at all times, business conducted within the services organization is of the highest ethical and professional standards.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

* 4-year college degree required; MBA preferred
* 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience strongly preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years in services sales, business development or similar strategic selling roles strongly preferred
