Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to perform research with a focus on integrated electronic and microelectromechanical systems (analog, mixed-signal, radio-frequency, and mm-wave) with applications in sensing, imaging, medicine, healthcare, data science, and other emerging areas and teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Extraordinary candidates from other areas of Computer Engineering are also welcome.

The department has a vibrant research program in Computer Engineering, along with programs in data science, nanoengineering, neuroengineering, and wireless & mobile systems with great national and international visibility. Our faculty rank among the top 10 most productive in the USA in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering,* and our faculty are known for their strong collaborative relationships within the department, across disciplines at Rice and internationally.
