Job Description

The Server Team Supervisor is responsible for supervising the team of floaters and servers. The Server Supervisor position is responsible for training, supervising and maintaining a team of high performers that provide excellent customer service while interacting with our student customers on a day to day basis. Primary responsibilities: coaching on providing excellent customer service, greeting students, faculty, assisting school faculty in maintaining orderly student lines and line management, managing electronic menu options, confirming all student orders into computer database are correct, and monitoring the cash or check payments made by the students by making daily pick ups at schools and returning the funds to the Office. Additional duties entail assisting server team in food management, serving, and cleaning up after breakfast and lunch as well as providing necessary feedback to Revolution Foods culinary and School Account Managers regarding necessary equipment, supplies, and food as well as relaying all student and school feedback.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Responsible for directing floaters and at times stepping into necessary support the schools in the event of callouts.
  2. Conducting monthly meetings on HACCP, Production Sheet, Quality, Safety and Sanitation guidelines.
  3. Daily debriefing to AO on personnel, issues, absences, concerns and events throughout the course of the day.
  4. When on campus reach out to Campus Business Managers/Leaders to build positive relationships.
  5. Providing Operational support to maintain (temp log, monthly menus, re-therm sheets, calibration sheets) and cleaning supplies ensuring stock is on hand.
  6. Daily Communication with servers on status of business (delivery, equipment, servers and school staff).
  7. Auditing all mandatory paperwork ensuring compliance.
  8. Follows and executes Rev Food quality standards for all menu items per approved SOP’s from Executive Chef.
  9. Ensure food quality standards are followed by showing a commitment to quality from delivery to re-therm to presentation of the final product. in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
  10. Set up and break down of lunch line layout, work at an efficient pace, accuracy at POS and verifying compliance with Government & school compliance and contract regulations.
  11. Committed to being punctual, adhering to the time and attendance policy.
  12. Maintain a food safe environment, complying with State, Federal and Revolution Foods food safety policies.
  13. Ability to learn and execute the operation of kitchen equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
  14. Observe Compliant in a safety first environment while adhering to company developed Good Manufacturing Practices operational practices, maintaining a clean, organized, hazardous free work station while focusing on sanitation and quality control.
  15. Establish a culture of respect, hard work, consistency and effective communication with management team members and RF customers.
  16. Abide by the company “Green” waste, compost and recycling program when available.
  17. Maintains consistency in food quality standards as set in the Server handbook.
  18. Effectively communicates to Management any issues or concerns that may affect food safety, quality and the student customer experience.
  19. Supports preventive maintenance on all equipment and advises management when repair or maintenance is needed.
  20. Records daily events, waste, participation data and variances. Fills daily procedure checklist (cleaning, timeline, logs etc.) observant to the changes in business models and able to communicate those changes.
  21. Keep students informed of the scheduled menu and new items and scheduled menu look for ways to increase breakfast participation, Get student customer feedback, (food quality, likes and dislikes) during non-service time (if allowed) and communicate information to management.
  22. Able to identify and effectively communicate any concerns while being solution oriented with issues that may affect food safety, quality and or the student customer experience.
  23. Performs other duties as assigned, and follows through on requests asked of management in a timely manner.
  24. Follows all company policy and procedures as outlined in the Employee handbook.


  1. 2-5 years customer service experience in a mid-high volume service facility or Restaurant.
  2. 2-3 years in a Supervisory roll.
  3. Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  4. Strong attention to detail with ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
  5. Strong computer and math skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Able to work well with others and participate as part of a team.
  7. Proven experience with supervising a team of entry level employees.
  8. Preferred placement for serv safe food handlers permit holders but not exclude any applicants from applying.
