Resource 1 is seeking a SharePoint Administrator/Developer for a 6-month contract-for-hire opportunity in Chicago, IL. The selected candidate should have experience in Microsoft Technologies, SharePoint 2013/SharePoint Online, RDBMS and PowerShell and .NET Framework.

The position is about 40% SharePoint administration and development and 60% enhancing and maintaining existing applications across various technology stacks including;

C#, ASP.NET, MVC 5/6, T-SQL, Single Page Applications, and Web Services.


  • Administer and manage on-premise enterprise SharePoint 2013 farm sites and sub-site
  • Perform application implementations and upgrades.
  • Monitor applications, event logs, and system health.
  • Assure continuity of the SharePoint sites for all system users.
  • Assist in the management/user account information, including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Assist users with content authoring, training, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint related performance, configuration issues while partnering with Marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Implement SharePoint lists, libraries, web parts, workflows, sites/sub-sites, and SharePoint applications.


  • 3-5 years of experience administering on-premise enterprise SharePoint 2013 farm sites and sub-sites
  • 2-3 years desired experience with Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, MVC 5/6
  • Skilled in the UI development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, SharePoint, Web
  • Experience with PowerShell and SharePoint CSOM
  • Design/Development, Single Page Applications
  • Solid Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing environment

Location: Chicago, IL.

Length: 6-month CFH

Salary: W2 - $55-60/1099 $60-65/$110k salary
