Job Description

Resource 1 is in need of a Business Analyst for a long-term contract in Chicago (very short walk to either train station). Individual should have at least 5 years as a Business Analyst and at least 1 year (or one major project) of experience as a BA on an EDW/BI implementation within a mid-large enterprise environment. Selected individual will be working on a national data collection project, which involves the design/development of a new enterprise data warehouse that pulls data in from multiple locations across the US. Individual will be responsible for creating requirement specifications, use cases, user stories, functional requirements, process flows, data flows and other artifacts in support of the EDW/BI implementation. Individual should have a solid understanding of data flow, data integration and ETL processes. Individual should also have prior experience defining requirements for reporting and Business Intelligence. Prior experience working in both Agile and Waterfall is desirable for this position, and experience running Scrum meetings is a big plus. Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
