Job Description

Responsibilities

* The Hotel Sales Intern will be provided with a professional learning experience in a hands-on, project-oriented work environment.
* This internship opportunity will prepare students for entry into the business world by providing an understanding of the application of their current/recent coursework in Business Management and/or Hospitality Management to the daily functions of the Hotel Sales professional in the Casino/Hospitality Industry.
* The Student Intern will have the opportunity to shadow various areas of Hotel Sales (including: Convention Sales, Catering and Conference Services) and will be given assignments and projects to complete.
* To enrich their learning experience, the Student Intern will receive personalized training and mentorship from our team of professionals in the use and application of the Delphi System which is the most utilized Hotel Sales Operating System in existence today.
* The Student Intern will also have the opportunity to develop and/or strengthen their planning, organizational, time management, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
* The Student Intern will learn about the importance of customer service.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
* Promotes outstanding customer relations.

Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursing a degree in Business Management or Hospitality Management.
* GPA of 3.0 or higher.
* Must be a self-starter.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, necessary.
* Excellent guest relations.
