ResMed is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our testing efforts for some exciting projects. This role will be responsible for debugging software products, maintain quality standards for company products, capturing results and filing defect reports. The role will require a candidate who is technically sound, quality process oriented, self-driven, self-motivated, willing to do "hands on" work, attitude to go above and beyond to get the work done with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership and contribute towards various testing efforts like Functional, Security, Accessibility, Integration, Internationalization, Localization, Single user Performance and Cross browser & Cross Platform testing Support the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases for functional, regression and end-to-end testing, including both back-end and front-end testing of entire system, subsystems and interfaces to other systems As part of the Agile SCRUM team, work closely with local and global software development and QE teams. Participate in Functional & Technical requirements discussions with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and User Experience teams Test Case Management and Defect Management using tools Create traceability and requirements coverage matrices to report the quality of the featuresunder test. Create valid estimates regarding effort for tasks, communicate these estimates and meet deadlines in a timely manner Work closely with the Build, Release Engineering and Operations team to get the code build deployed to the QE environments

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 0-2 years of experience testing applications based on Java, Android, or iOS, for web or mobile technologies Ability to program in Java, Android, or Ruby Understanding of the software testing process and why it is important Familiar with Linux/Unix OS Excellent oral, written and analytical skills and demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, team player This is an early talent / entry level role The ideal candidate would be graduating in spring 2016 Preferred Skills:
Understanding of complex SaaS or Cloud Computing or Multi-tenant environments Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM Familiarity with tools like - Selenium, JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Cucumber Experience with SQL and related RDMS concepts Experience with testing on mobile devices Knowledge and experience with multi-tiered systems, including working knowledge of web/application servers Geek factor, able to speak Java, XML, HTML, comfortable with API testing, web services, knowledge of how the
