Project Manager

Salary: $80-100k

Location: Irving, Tx

Looking for a Project Manager to oversee claim portfolios in the insurance industry. IT experience preferred, BS degree, PM certification preferred, some IT PM Insurance a plus to drive projects within claims
The Project Manager is responsible for owning processes, documentation and knowledge within the scope of their team's responsibilities.

Job Description

Manage assigned project from end-to-end
Work with Protection Risk & Compliance, product SME's and Legal to gather and develop project requirements
Work with technology and operations partners to resolve execution issues, questioning and considering the implications of decisions and recommendations
Consult with Claim SME's to determine resolution of business issues that impact project scope, cost or quality
Contribute to strategic decisions
Understand moderate to highly complex issues and risks and make judgments and/or recommendations to address
Adhere to established project management standards for issue and risk management, project status communication and project close-out activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; project management certification preferred
3-5 years of experience in in project management; prior insurance industry, and or IT experience preferred
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Intermediate problem solving skills
Intermediate process management skills

Insurance industry experience
