Solution Architect Integration - BizTalk
$120-135K +Bonus

Prestigious Organization is seeking a Solution Architect with strong Integration experience and a BizTalk background. The Solutions Architect of Integration ensures that IT technology, processes and technical teams work together to provide capabilities supporting company business strategy and value chain execution. The role provides integration solution designs that adhere to enterprise standards and technologies. The role often assists in the definition of those standards, patterns, practices and processes. The role serves as a development leader and evangelist for new technologies, process and governance of IT artifacts and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive solution architecture to meet the business needs.

  • Design and lead the implementation of technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure business and IT alignment around areas of technical responsibility.

  • Develop road map and technical platform life cycles that support business challenges and future needs.
  • Stay abreast of innovative technologies and provide periodic assessments of new opportunities and challenges.
  • Define enterprise and solution architecture standards, patterns and practices.
  • The development and implementation of governance and support structures in support of production technology solutions.
  • Actively pursue solution and operational enhancements, and innovation to provide continuous improvement.
  • Actively track and report on the effectiveness of deployed technologies and solutions.
  • Provide thought and technical leadership for the development and enhancement of IT processes, business applications and technical platforms.
  • Work with vendors for service delivery and evaluating and implementing new technologies.
  • Lead and mentor team members, manage team tasks and assignments, and ensure code quality of developed artifacts.
  • Develop methodologies for the ongoing assessment of solution performance and the identification of problem areas.
  • Oversee or consult on technical solution architecture implementation and modification activities, for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions.
  • Design and lead the implementation of Enterprise Integration components.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years developing and delivering enterprise technical solutions to meet business objectives.
  • 4+ years SQL Server experience with Microsoft SQL 2008, 2012 and 2016 or Oracle 11 and 12.
  • 3+ years of BizTalk Server knowledge and working experience.
  • 3+ years of cloud integration solutions and applications with technologies such as BizTalk Services on Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience in service oriented architectures and web-based services utilizing SOAP, WCF and REST.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and utilizing API gateways for both on premise and cloud integrations such as Mule or Azure API management.
  • Demonstrated Experience with batch and/or scheduled job platforms such as Windows Scheduler, CRON or Cisco Tidal.
  • Demonstrated Experience ETL development such as SQL Server Integration Servers (SSIS) or Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering of technology solutions through the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Demonstrated experience using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
  • Experience utilizing ITIL/ITSM processes and procedures a plus.
  • Experience in the Energy Business a plus.
