Job Description

About Us:

We're on a mission to improve K-12 education in our lifetime . Want to help?

As a member of the Remind engineering team, your job is to figure out how communication technology will transform education 5 years from now. Remind was built to help teachers, students, and parents connect instantly on mobile devices. By offering teachers an easy, safe way to reach students and parents where they are, we believe relationships get stronger and education gets better. Its that simple.

With over 23 million teachers, students, and parents connected on Remind, we are one of the fastest growing ed tech companies out there. What makes Remind unique from typical tech companies is our obsessive desire to listen to and understand our teachers, even as we scale. We do this to ensure Remind is a product that serves their needs, and empowers them to build communities that positively impact students.

Remind is looking for engineers who are inspired by the communication challenges educators face, and are energized to build and scale systems, and rapidly iterate on our product. We're helping improve education with a bottoms-up approach, which means that culturally, we expect our engineers to play a massive role in building this platform - whether its streamlining or supporting our backend, or building new systems and features that will help us expand our reach to a billion teachers, students, and parents around the world.

We've raised $59M funding from Kleiner Perkins, Social Capital, & First Round Capital to bring us one step closer to achieving this mission. We're just getting started -- come change the world with us.
