Job Description

The purpose of this position is to prepare quarterly financial forecasts and detailed annual budgets. Additionally, this Financial Analyst will be responsible for the monthly analysis and reporting of variances between the actual financial results and the budget. Other responsibilities will include ad hoc analyses and support of other FP&A departmental work efforts.

Essential Duties:

* Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial forecasts and the detailed annual budgets. This includes coordinating the collection of relevant forecast/budget data from the various department heads and resolving any open issues.
* Maintain templates and reports within the online budgeting software and assist with the development of new templates and reports as needed.
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the ongoing financial results for all areas of the organization and prepare monthly budget variance reports which provide timely, key information to upper management.
* Prepare dashboards on a monthly basis.
* In conjunction with the rest of the FP&A team, establish and maintain good communication with the various Regional Directors/Department Heads and perform as the central point of contact between them and the Finance department. Quarterly, meet with each Regional Director/Department Head to review and discuss their respective dashboards and financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Detailed understanding of financial statements and GAAP accounting with the ability to analyze the components thereof.
* Preferred: Internship / 1+ year of experience in a financial analyst and/or financial reporting role.
* Strong Excel skills; proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
