Job Description:

At Regions, Trust Operations consists of the following teams; Depository Processing, Natural Resources and Real Estate, Retirement Services, Cash Processing, Custody, Settlements, Corporate Trust, Mutual Funds, and Account Opening and Closing Teams. The Trust Operations Clerk will provide back office support for the Trust business segment.

Primary Responsibilities

* Enters data
* Processes transactions
* Supports wire transfers
* Provides support for bill pay
* Generates statements
* Opens and closes accounts
* Enters trades
* Communicates with internal and external partners/mutual fund companies
* Transfers bonds
* Generates reports

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Depending on the team, may require a different skill set based on the functions of the desk

Skills and Competencies

* Demonstrates ability to identify and resolve problems
* Able to effectively communicate both orally and in written format
* Effectively provide client service dealing with issues to internal clients, i.e..; Administrators, Admin Assistants, Trust Accounting, etc.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products and programs
* Able to multitask with minimal supervision
* Good analytical and problem solving skills, including attention to detail
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new concepts, accept change and grow within the position

This is a fixed-term, temporary position scheduled to end 3/31/18.
