Project Manager, Deployment

Position Overview
_____________________________________________________________________________

The Deployment Project Manager provides installation support for the Redbox kiosk network. The Deployment Project Manager works directly with the client, coordinating the installation of new kiosks with internal departments as well as external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the deployment process, including the coordination of efforts of other resources (e.g., contractors, consultants, vendors, government agencies, field operations, etc.)
  • Reporting and tracking of deployment projects
  • Schedules site surveys with clients to determine kiosk locations
  • Creates schedules and timelines for kiosk installations
  • Orders equipment, schedules delivery and manages vendors to ensure timely delivery of kiosk equipment and materials
  • Manages accounts payable relative to kiosk deployment costs
  • Manages all necessary due diligence, including securing all required permits and approvals
  • “Hands on” management of the deployment process, including the coordination of efforts of other resources (e.g., contractors, consultants, vendors, government agencies, field operations, etc.)
  • Ensures high quality control standards for construction and installation of interior and exterior kiosks (e.g., cost, timing, process, location, and craftsmanship)
  • Ensures projects are closed out appropriately (e.g., punch-list, contractor documentation, invoicing, adherence to construction-related accounting principles)
  • Maintains reports to reflect status of key schedule milestones related to projects
  • Ensures that deployment costs are updated, monitored, and reviewed as required

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma, or GED, required. College graduate preferred
  • 5+ years’ project management experience in small platform, multi-site installation coordination in a high growth, fast paced environment
  • Experience in project management functions as it relates to development/construction
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experienced in designing and managing reports

  • Demonstrated ability to partner well across multiple departments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Assertive, enthusiastic, and team-building style
  • Knowledge of development/construction concepts and processes
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
