What is the opportunity?

 

You will partner across IT and with assigned business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order to resolve business systems issues by recommending technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs.

 

This is a production support role for relevant applications (Charles River, NISS).  The primary applications supported by the Technical Systems Analyst will be the Charles River trading platform along with a couple of web based applications

 

What will you do?

 

  • Managing production support issues and seeing through to resolution. Involves rotational on-call and occasional weekend support
  • Manage Production and Test Environment Implementations through the use of enterprise change management practices
  • Provide input on best mix of development, interfacing applications, third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.
  • Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
  • Continually enhances skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems.

 

 

What do you need to succeed?

 

Must-have

 

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012
  • Microsoft SQL 2008 and above
  • Microsoft IIS
  • Change Management concepts

                          

Nice to have

 

  • Existing hands on expertise with Charles River application
  • Financial Industry knowledge
  • Trading life-cycle knowledge
